TRIPS

Club trips throughout the year include local Exploring the Lowcountry (ELT) Day Trips as well as overnight trips. You must have signed the Waiver of Liability & Hold Harmless Agreement to be able to participate in any PCSCHH activities including trips. This is the agreement that is on the club renewal form. As trips are finalized, information will be posted to the site and emailed to members. This is a great opportunity to socialize with and learn from your peers and experience the wonderful photographic opportunities in the area.

Beidler Audubon Forest and Sanctuary 2025 Field Trip

Friday May 9th from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

After a rain out last year, we are heading back to the Beidler Audubon Forest and Sanctuary on Friday May 9th. There is plenty to photograph at Beidler; Prothonotary Warblers, Barred Owls, Summer Tanagers, along with other songbirds and reptiles. You will be walking on a boardwalk that is high and dry above the swamp to photograph. This trip is different than some of the others trips where we see thousands of birds. At Beidler, we will be looking for small songbirds, Owls and of course the Prothonotary Warblers! If you have never experienced Beidler Forest, you need to go on this field trip before the Prothonotary Warblers leave the nest and head for the treetops! This is a beautiful location and is worth the visit! A group lunch at Just Desserts Bakery & Café is planned!

There is a $11.00 per person entry fee and it is recommended to pre-register for the date.
